EMILY MIEHLKE
Hi! My name is Emily, and I am originally from Rocky Hill, CT and now live in South Boston. I graduated from Providence College in 2017 with my Bachelors in Social Work. I then received my Masters in Social Work with a concentration in Children, Youth, and Family from Boston College in 2018.

I have worked with children for as long as I can remember. I grew up working as a camp counselor as well as a lifeguard/swimming instructor for children ages 3-13. Throughout my schooling, my social work field experience all involved working with youth from kindergarten through high school in multiple different realms.
I began working full time as a clinician and then the clinical director of a short term group home serving adolescents with emotional/behavioral challenges for about 4 years. I now work as an adolescent social worker for DCF.
I am very passionate about working with children and youth and feel I bring a good balance of patience and high energy to my work! I love to remain active, play sports, and especially enjoy spending time outdoors. I am so excited to be a part of the savvy sitter team and look forward to meeting you and your family!
